WE SERVE THE HOTELS IN LEBANON
The Lebanese Hotel Association (LHA) is the national trade association for the hotel industry.
Established in 1947 by means of a decree no. 3797 accredited by the Minister of Economy and Social Affairs, it represents today about 417 hotels in Lebanon ranging from economy and midscale to upper upscale and luxury category.
Its primary role is to lobby government across Lebanon representing the views of the industry and promoting and protecting the interests of all operators in the hotel industry. The LHA also provides members with a wide range of services designed to keep them informed of industry issues, to help grow their business and to save them money and time.
As trade association of the hotel and accommodation industry we aim to preserve and to strengthen the economic potential, the competitiveness and the prestige of our industry in general and of our members in particular. We consolidate private hotels and hotel chains with their different form of business, and create in this way a fundament for a common performance and understanding.
The Association acts as the collective voice and motivator of the industry in Lebanon to gain maximum recognition and support for issues of concern relating to member hotels.
It also supports and co-ordinates the hotel industry, and communicates the economic benefit that member hotels bring to the country.
It leads initiatives to modernize the tourism legislation in a close collaboration with the public sector – the related ministries especially the Ministry of Tourism; and actively works with public sector and industry partners to develop and encourage year round business opportunities, especially through participating in conference, event and tourism weeks in Lebanon and abroad.
